SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

BALLET INVITATIONAL 3	Must attend 2 classes per week.
BALLET 4B AND INVITATIONAL 4A/4B	Must attend 2 classes per week.
BALLET 5A/5B (with pointe work)	Must attend 2 technique classes per week.
BALLET 6 & 7	Must attend 2 technique classes per week and may add pointe classes.
KINGWOOD DANCE THEATRE	Must attend 4 technique classes per week, 2 pointe classes and jazz class designated as level KDT. Students are encouraged to add Level 7 technique and pointe class regularly. Only 3 absences allowed per semester.
KINGWOOD YOUTH BALLET	Must attend 3 technique and 2 pointe classes per week and extra rehearsal on Friday afternoon.
KINGWOOD JAZZ & COMPANY	Members are required to attend their regular level of jazz class, and a weekly ballet class, in addition to the company rehearsal class.
Unavoidable absences from any of the above classes should be explained by a note or call. Excessive absences may require a change of level for a student or require being moved out of an invitational class or program. ** 80% class attendance is expected for the full nine months in order for a student to be considered for advancement to the next level.**
