Melanie Cryer is the director of Rowland/Ballard's preschool gymnastics program, KinderGym.  She has 8 years of coaching experience, and her stated mission is to help preschool children learn and master basic gymnastics skills in a fun, positive, and safe environment.  She is a professional member of USAG and holds certifications in both safety and preschool (KAT) from the national gymnastics organization.  Melanie is also a women's gymnastics judge, a member of the National Association of Women's Gymnastics Judges, and the current treasurer of the Greater Houston Association of Women's Gymnastics Judges.

Melanie loves to teach.  She holds a BAT from Sam Houston State University and currently volunteers as curriculum coordinator and leadership team member for the children's ministry at her church.  (photo by Charles Falk)
